Just Be You - Art Journal

Hi friends

Artsy Monday time! I created an art journal page that is filled with fun techniques.

I want to point out that the words "Just Be You" is cut out from my silhouette and if you want to cut them out too with the font I used. here is the FREE Silhouette cut file for you to download. My handwriting isn't the best, lol. So why not improvise and use Silhouette.

At the beginning, I was struggling between whether or not I want to do this page or a more bright page with more colors. But I went with this page since I haven't being making grungy projects for awhile.

I Give You Roses - Art Journal

Hi friends!

It's time for Artsy Monday! Today I am sharing a journal with quite a bit of white space.

This page is simple with roses floating away. I used deep red acrylic paint to paint those roses first, then added a layer of yellow acrylic paint to add the hight light. The red colors kinda disappear among those vibrant colors without the highlight.

Watercolor Pencil As Ink Pad For Stamps?

Hi friends!

I was on Prima blog yesterday with the 9th day of Christmas challenge. Don't forget to hop over and have fun with the challenges!

I created a tag using watercolor pencil and the brand new Ink N layer stamp. Just dip your watercolor pencil in water then draw them on your stamps. Before you stamp, give it a spritz of water to reactivate the pigment. Then you will see the magic happens on your paper. It really creates beautiful watercolor look. What can I say, I am a watercolor addict. Anything related to watercolor is my favorite.
