Layered Bloom Girl

Hi friends :)

I want to share a pin spin project for Prima. Don't forget to check out Prima's blog to see other amazing inspirations too!

This Pin is what inspired me to do this project. I LOVE the amazing watercolor techniques and just everything about it. Bloom Girl stamps are simply gorgeous, so I wanted to make a project that really shows the beauty of them. I layered two Bloom stamp images, Peyton and Goldie, together and they turned out so beautiful.

For the two little birds, I actually paper pieced on there. It's not that obvious from photos but when you look at it in person it really gives it that extra dimension.

Because I love things shimmery, I dusted on a layer of mica powders to their corresponding colors. You can see from the last photo how shimmery it is.

Abstract Art Journal Painting - ArTsY MoNdAy

Hi friends

Today I am sharing this abstract art journal page. Scroll down for video tutorial because I explained everything in there. Also I listed the product in the video description box too. :)

I used the combination of acrylics and watercolor to create this art journal page. What I didn't mention in the video is that my inspiration is actually the cloud at sunset. I know it doesn't look like it but that's what got me to create this piece.

Anyways, I really hope you enjoy it.

"Mask On" Mixed Media Canvas

Hi friends!

Today I am on ScrapFX's blog bringing you these two very different styled projects.
I haven't been playing with whimsical themed projects for a while. When I saw the newly released masks chipboard from ScrapFX, it just hit me instantly that I need to do something whimsical with those. So I used my Prima Relics, applied some "makeup", then just put the masks on them.

There are many fun and useful techniques I used on this canvas, feel free to check out the video tutorial. Every technique I used is shown in there.

This card is too cute don't you agree? I put the little crown on the teddy bear and it looks perfect! All the chipboard are embossed with white embossing powder first, then colored with alcohol inks.
